Intallation and performance

When I calm down from letting out my anger or just feeling like I need to get away from certain situations in life, my vain personality enters, freeing myself from the real world of problems and calamities, into my own isolated mirrored world of vanity and tranquility. Vanity can be seen as a distraction and self-indulging by some people, but personally I feel positive and confident when I look at myself in the mirror, so I wanted to express this feeling to viewers this way.

Duration: 4 mins

Students from the first and second year came to view my installation. They were admiring themselves in the mirrors with confidence, and they told me that they found this installation and topic a very intriguing and positive idea, seeing something that is so self-indulging become something positive and normal.
